As employers in South Carolina move towards reopening workplaces, they are reminded to review the Workplace Re-Entry Health and Safety Recommendations that have been established by SC OSHA. The state recommendations generally track federal OSHA and CDC guidelines on this subject, but also address the engineering, administrative and work practice controls to be put in place by all employers prior to reopening.

Government confirms legislation to extend CDC to be laid in autumn
On April 29, 2025, Minister for Pensions Torsten Bell confirmed that new regulations will be laid in the autumn to allow for multi-employer collective defined contribution (CDC) schemes to be established. The related press release can be read here.
