Nader Hasan is currently developing a broad business law practice with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities matters.
He joined our Toronto office as a summer student in 2014, and returned as an articling student in 2015 and 2016. During his articles, Mr. Hasan completed a secondment in the Royal Bank of Canada’s legal department, where he gained valuable experience working with its corporate services and securities group.
While in law school, Mr. Hasan clerked at the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, acted as a consultant for the University of Ottawa’s employment litigation clinic and completed directed research projects focused on corporate governance and shareholder activism. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Hasan worked for a large financial advisory firm as well as the Department of Economics for Ryerson University.
