Our Toronto office acted as Canadian counsel to Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) on SEC-registered offerings of US$600 million aggregate principal amount of senior floating rate notes due March 27, 2028, US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.715% senior fixed rate/floating rate notes due March 27, 2028, US$400 million aggregate principal amount of senior floating rate notes due May 2, 2031 and US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.970% senior fixed rate/floating rate notes due May 2, 2031. The offerings were completed through RBC’s U.S. medium-term notes program.
