Vancouver advises CNL on $830m sale of ski resort assets

Our Vancouver office has advised CNL Lifestyle Properties Inc. and its affiliates on a transaction involving approximately US $830 million in ski resort assets and attractions, including the Cypress Bowl Ski Resort in West Vancouver which was sold to Och-Ziff Real Estate Advisors. The matter closed on April 6, 2017.

We provided advice concerning the transfer of the Cypress Bowl Park Use permit, and associated Aboriginal consultation issues arising from the transfer.
