Vancouver advises Metro Vancouver on C$525m wastewater treatment plant project

Our Vancouver office has advised the Greater Vancouver Sewerage & Drainage District (also known as Metro Vancouver) on the C$525 million procurement and construction of the Lions Gate secondary wastewater treatment plant, intended to serve three municipalities located on the North Shore of Metro Vancouver.
The new secondary treatment plant will replace an existing primary treatment plant, which will be decommissioned following completion of the new facility.
We advised Metro Vancouver on all legal aspects of the project, commencing with the RFQ phase and through RFP, selection of the ADAPT Consortium and financial close, which was reached 5 April, 2017.
The core team included Matt Mulligan, Jay LeMoine, Greg Lewis, Jenya Hammond, Danielle Bensler and Gautam Dhillon.
