Building sustainable communities

Corporate responsibility

Our commitment to our people, our communities and sustainable practice

We believe that we have a responsibility as corporate citizens to use our skills and knowledge where we can make a difference. Whether it is for our clients or for the wider communities in which we live, we strive to help shape the future in a way that provides economic, ecological and social benefits for all.

We also believe that actions speak louder than words. Our actions in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR) are many and varied across our business, but in all our activities, we seek to behave in a way that consistently reinforces our business principles of quality, unity and integrity.

In order to achieve our broader CSR goals, we have partnered with Benevity and created a new program to increase our overall impact in the ways we support the interests of our people in their communities; to create awareness around our programs; and to provide a nationally consistent experience that resonates at the local level.

Benevity, one of Western Canada's largest start-ups, is a Calgary-based company that provides charitable donation-management and grant-management platforms.

Through our new Canadian program, Impact, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada will support our people in  making financial and personal contributions. This personal generosity helps to enhance the quality of life for communities where we live and work.
