The Bond Buyer published Lawrence Larose and Eric Daucher's article, "Learning the Lessons of Chapter 9" (subscription required).

The article discusses howthe wave of municipal bankruptcies in California and the two largest-ever Chapter 9 bankruptcycases in Jefferson County, Alabama and Detroit, Michigan, have forced participants in the municipal finance market to reexamine some basic assumptions.
