Norton Rose Fulbright donates $10,000 to aid Canadian Red Cross flood relief efforts in British Columbia

Canada Press release December 2021

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright donated C$10,000 to the British Columbia Floods and Extreme Weather Appeal issued by The Canadian Red Cross. In response to the BC floods, The Canadian Red Cross activated its humanitarian workforce to aid response efforts by providing emergency support services and financial assistance, working with community leaders and all levels of government to support people impacted by the flooding and extreme weather in the province. Both the Federal Government of Canada and the Provincial Government of British Columbia are matching every dollar donated to the appeal between November 17 and December 26, 2021.

“It is important that we come together to support the communities where we live and work” says Vancouver Office Managing Partner Kieran Siddall. “As a firm we are committed to support ongoing recovery efforts. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the floods.”

Norton Rose Fulbright’s investment in corporate social responsibility is furthered by its comprehensive Canadian program, Impact, aimed at making a strong and meaningful community impact through giving and sustainability efforts.

Additionally, internal contributions from Norton Rose Fulbright employees made through Impact will help the relief efforts of other organizations including Team Rubicon Canada, United Way BC, and The Salvation Army.
