Scott Huntley

Biography

Scott Huntley is a member of the Ottawa office's business law group with a focus on commercial real estate and financing transactions.

He has experience with the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial properties, including construction progress draw financing programs for office buildings, industrial buildings, hotels, shopping centers, multi-unit residential complexes, mixed-use properties, and vacant lands. Scott is responsible for attending to and assisting with the closing of transactions, liaising with clients and counsel, title searching and conducting various other due-diligence searches, preparation of closing and financing documents, registrations in the land registry offices, filings under the Personal Property Security Act (Ontario), and final reporting to clients.

Scott has also participated in several cross-jurisdictional real estate and financing transactions requiring collaboration with members of our extra-provincial offices, external agents, and external counsels.
