Calgary and Montreal advise Black Swan Energy in its US$100 million second lien debt financing

Counsel to Black Swan Energy Ltd. in its private placement of US$100 million of senior secured second lien notes to a group of U.S. investment funds. Black Swan is a private equity backed company headquartered in Calgary with natural gas exploration and production operations in northeastern British Columbia.

The Calgary team included Kevin Johnson, Marlow Gereluk, Marcus Archer and Adam Lamoureux in Calgary and Peter Wiazowski in Montreal.
