The Castor case, Canada’s longest-running judicial matter, has ended

Our Montreal and Toronto offices advised on one of Canada’s largest auditors' negligence cases in Canadian history, assisting the audit firm Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants with a settlement plan resolving a 23-year long auditors' negligence and related cases. We also represented the group of international professional indemnity insurers that played a key role in the success of the plan in the CCAA proceedings before the Ontario 

Superior Court of Justice; a team that included Helene Bourque, Sophie Kilburn and Christina Capus.
