Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright announced that Quebec City office managing partner Olga Farman was recognized at the Women's Executive Network (WXN) 2019 Top 100 Awards as one of Canada's Most Powerful Women.
Olga was nominated in the professionals category, which recognizes women who are professionals in practice and leaders within their organizations.
As a member of the firm’s national management committee, Olga helps shape the operation of one of Canada’s largest law firms and is committed to developing a new type of leadership that is inclusive, integrated and innovative. She chooses to lead differently while upholding the traditional values of quality client service and legal advice.
Having made it her mission to empower her team and peers, Olga provides them with the support they need to succeed under her direction.
Walied Soliman, global and Canadian chair of Norton Rose Fulbright, commented:
“Olga is a natural-born leader, a woman of conviction whose energy and liveliness are a source of inspiration for those who come into contact with her. Sitting on the firm’s management committee with Olga, I have witnessed firsthand the strength of her leadership. She also plays a fundamental role in identifying and addressing issues to better support the advancement of women.”
Olga leads the steering committee of the Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) professional development network in Quebec City, and in that capacity, she spearheaded a national initiative to address barriers women face at the firm.
