Sandile Khoza is a litigation lawyer based in our Durban office.

Sandile joined us as a candidate attorney in 2007, and has been a director since April 2013. He currently works in the litigation and dispute resolution team.

He focuses on insurance litigation including, but not limited to, motor vehicle insurance and public liability claims. He acts for the majority of the major banks and as local counsel for two of the top commercial banks in Swaziland in foreclosure matters.

His experience also includes commercial litigation (mainly insolvencies and liquidations), calling up of security on debts and foreclosure related disputes, contractual disputes, debt recoveries, liquidations and sequestrations and defending reputational risk matters. He is also a member of our business ethics and anti-corruption team.

In April 2010 he was appointed as independent legal adviser on the Gold Circle panel, adjudicating the selection of an insurance company which would underwrite the group life scheme for all the Gold Circle jockeys in South Africa. Recently Sandile was appointed as legal adviser to the Insurance Institute of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Sandile holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Natal and KwaZulu-Natal respectively.
