Biography

Robin Wotherspoon is a paralegal working in our financial services regulation group. Robin was also an associate lawyer with Bull Housser & Tupper LLP (a predecessor firm to Norton Rose Fulbright) in the financial services group from 1996 to 2001. She has both corporate and financial services experience.

Robin's financial services experience involves preparing all security documents, including mortgages of land and leasehold mortgages, marine mortgages, security agreements, priority agreements and supporting documents. Supporting documents include corporate resolutions, officer's certificates and opinions. Robin also has experience effecting registrations in the BC Personal Property Registry and the BC Land Title Office and managing transactions from start to finish in connection with both real and personal property financing.

Robin's corporate work experience ranges from simple incorporations, extra-provincial registrations, dividend declarations, business name registrations, annual maintenance and name changes to more complex share transactions, dissolutions, continuances, reorganizations and amalgamations.

She also assists with conducting various due diligence searches and the review of the same, which include, but are not limited to, corporate, BC Personal Property Registry, BC Worker's Compensation Board, bankruptcy and litigation searches.
