Join us on Wednesday, June 4 for a thought-provoking session exploring the latest global developments impacting aviation law. The discussion will be moderated by Steven Thompson KC from XXIV Old Buildings.
Steven will be joined by Erin Hitchens from XXIV Old Building, Patrick Farrell from Norton Rose Fulbright and Ned Beale from Hausfeld with special in-house guest David Bartlett, former General Counsel of PK AirFinance.
The session will cover the following topics:
- What on earth is happening? Insights into the intersection of global conflicts, sanctions, tariffs, and how they affect aviation finance, leasing, and insurance.
- From the Hague to Cape Town, at speed: Cape Town speedy relief as available in courts and in support of arbitration claims.
- JOLCOs under the microscope: Discussion of the mechanics, pros, and cons of JOLCO lease structures by reference to the case law.
The event is aimed at those dealing with aviation disputes and transactional lawyers. It will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
This is an in-person event, hosted at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP on Wednesday 4 June at 4pm and will be followed by a drinks reception.
