Our Calgary office is advising Pieridae Energy on its acquisition of Ikkuma Resources, an Alberta natural gas producer. The proposed acquisition is a key step in Pieridae reaching a final investment decision on its proposed C$10bn Goldboro LNG project which is expected to produce approximately 10 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas per year for sale to customers primarily in Europe.
The transaction team included Kirsty Sklar, Zoë Abreder and Caitlin Jenkins (securities), Rujuta Patel (competition), Darren Hueppelsheuser and Brian Milne (tax), Marlow Gereluk and Christina Winger (banking), Alan Harvie, Robert Froehlich, Chi lliya-Ndule (energy), and Correna Jones and Ruoxi Wang (employment and labour).
