Biography
Anne Gallop practises in all areas of employment and labour law, including wrongful dismissal, human rights and disability management.
She routinely advises on all aspects of employment policies, ensuring compliance with the various legislative regimes. Ms. Gallop also has significant experience in corporate reorganizations and corporate mergers and acquisitions, where she advises on the labour, employment and employee privacy issues arising from such transactions. She routinely advises on employment and executive employment contracts, including executive compensation such as change of control agreements and stock option plans. Ms. Gallop also has extensive experience with privacy legislation as it relates to labour and employment matters.

Ms. Gallop has recently acted for the following clients:
- McKesson Canada in the acquisition of Patient Direct Group and Specialized Health Care Corporation, an Oakville, Ontario-based specialty and biological drug distribution, patient support and direct-to-patient drug dispensing business
- Domtar Corporation in the sale of its forest products business to EACOM Timber Corporation for approximately $127 million
- Nortel in its multijurisdictional insolvency proceedings including its agreement to sell its global Carrier VoIP and Application Solutions business to GENBAND
- Kingsway Financial Services Inc. in connection with a definitive purchase agreement to sell all of the issued and outstanding shares of Jevco Insurance Company to The Westaim Corporation
- Groupe Aeroplan in its US$175-million acquisition of Carlson Marketing Worldwide
- HearUSA Inc. in the sale of its Canadian subsidiaries' assets to Helix Inc. for over $28 million
