Global Press release - Business October 2023

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Numbat GmbH on the structuring, financing, and sale of an independent portfolio of fast-charging stations for electric vehicles to PATRIZIA European Infrastructure Fund II and III. The total investment volume of PATRIZIA together with a German banking consortium initially amounts to 140 million euros, with which Numbat plans to install 400 new fast-charging stations.

Numbat GmbH is a clean-tech company from Kempten (Allgäu), specialised in the development and the operation of fast-charging solutions for electric vehicles with integrated battery storage system, aiming to establish Europe's densest fast-charging infrastructure to support e-mobility. The combination of a fast-charging station and battery storage lowers electricity costs, can be installed regardless of the quality of the electricity grid, relieves the burden on the grid and enables customers to charge their electric vehicles almost completely within 15 minutes. The patented climate protection technology (multiple use of battery modules) enables Numbat GmbH to offer one of the most sustainable solutions on the market.

The PATRIZIA Infrastructure funds are experienced investors in infrastructure ventures, with a broad range of investment across direct equity, private debt and listed equity.
