Montreal advised SNC-Lavalin on second transfer of infrastructure assets for C$115m

Our Montreal office advised SNC-Lavalin Infrastructure Partners LP (the Fund), on its completed, previously announced transfer of a fifth Canadian infrastructure asset, the McGill University Health Centre (Montreal, QC). This second transfer was completed for a total consideration of approximately CA$115m, funded through the subscription of limited partnership units by each of the partners of the Fund, BBGI SICAV S.A. (through a Canadian subsidiary) and SNC-Lavalin. The Fund’s initial transfer of the first four Canadian infrastructure projects was completed on September 28, 2017; it included the William R. Bennett Bridge (Kelowna, BC), the Canada Line (Vancouver, BC), the Southeast Stoney Trail (Calgary, AB) and the Restigouche Hospital Centre (Campbellton, NB).

The team included Elliot Shapiro, David Crandall, Rachel Lesmerises, (Corporate, M&A), Riccardo Lento (Banking) and Derek Chiasson (Tax).
