Cancana has entered a definitive arrangement where Meridian will acquire all of the issued shares

Counsel to Cancana as it  enters into a definitive arrangement agreement, pursuant to which Meridian (a subsidiary of The Sentient Group) and Cancana will complete a reorganization.  Meridian will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Cancana (currently valued at C$36m) in exchange for shares of Meridian.
